LSBF Singapore Hold its 8th Graduation Ceremony

LSBF Singapore held its first in-person graduation ceremony for the first time in three years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It celebrated the achievements of over 160 graduates from different programmes across the school.

On Saturday 30 July, London School of Business and Finance Singapore held its eighth graduation ceremony after a two-year break due to the pandemic.

Held at the Carlton Hotel in Singapore, the ceremony recognised the academic achievements of over 160 graduates from various programmes in the Chinese School of International Studies, School of Business & Law, School of Technology and the School of Professional Education.

The event opened with a keynote address by Rathakrishnan Govind, CEO of LSBF Global. He said: “At the end of the day, a job or career is something that you must feel connected to. Don’t be disheartened if you don’t find the job of your dreams. Everyone has dreams.

“Instead of aiming for the job, aim for the company you want to work for. Once you are there, make an effort to get noticed and apply for that dream job of yours. It is much easier if you are already on the inside! Don’t you think?”

William Chia, Head of the School of Business & Law at LSBF Singapore, gave a congratulatory speech at the end of the ceremony. He said: “The skills and knowledge that you have acquired from your qualifications at the London School of Business and Finance are the bedrock upon which you will now take on challenges in the real and dynamic world.

“And the challenges are aplenty out there in the real world waiting for you. With the right attitude, the never-ending thirst for knowledge and learning and perseverance, I believe you will be able to conquer those challenges, reach new heights and achieve greater success like never before, just as you have done today. Therefore, I urge all of you to always stay hungry, stay foolish and always keep learning.”
