LSBF Singapore launches preparatory courses for admission to government schools

Singapore, 29 June 2021 - London School of Business and Finance Singapore is excited to offer new preparatory courses for international students for admission to government schools in Singapore.

During the last decade, Singapore’s education system has remained consistently at or near the top of major world education ranking systems. The number of international students who plan to enter Singapore's primary and secondary schools has increased significantly in recent years. To secure admission into Singapore schools, students must apply through the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) or the S (Supplementary)-AEIS examinations conducted by the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE). The prospective students have to take a centralised test on English and Mathematics.

LSBF Singapore’s preparatory courses are designed to help those students bridge the gap between the education system in their home countries and Singapore. The courses will guide students to be successful in the AEIS or S-AEIS examinations for admissions into primary 2 to 5 and secondary 1 to 3 in Singapore.

Commenting on the launch of the new courses, Rathakrishnan Govind, CEO, LSBF Global said: “By introducing this programme, LSBF is entering a new niche area of business within the K12 education sector. This is part of LSBF’s plans to pivot to various new business opportunities afforded by the global pandemic. I’m excited to see this develop into another successful programme!”
