LSBF Singapore Emerges as the Best School for Accountancy and Hospitality & Tourism

On December 1London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) Singapore was named Best Private School in Accountancy and Best Private School in Hospitality & Tourism at the Training & Education Development (T.E.D) Awards ceremony.

Following the Spirit of Enterprise and Asia Enterprise Brand awards, and the Gold Award for Corporate Training for Financial Management won earlier this year, it caps a highly successful 2016 for LSBF.

Speaking after the T.E.D Awards ceremony, LSBF Singapore's Managing Director Rathakrishnan Govind said, "2016 has been an exceptionally successful year for LSBF and the fact that we've been recognised so many times and across so many academic fields is testament to our outstanding teaching quality and commitment to student learning."

"Singapore is home to some of the world's best schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutes, so to win in such a competitive and highly skilled educational environment makes us truly proud."

The same night at the T.E.D Awards, LSBF Singapore also bagged the Gold Award for Corporate Training for Financial Management, given to schools who have garnered more than 25% of the votes in the competing category.

The Asia Enterprise Brand Awards meanwhile recognise successful local and foreign brands that aim to accelerate the growth of up-and-coming brands in the region, while the annual Spirit of Enterprise Awards honour outstanding achievements on a business's commitment and industry innovation. These awards recognise the outstanding branding efforts that the school has made in the region.

In a separate event on the same day, LSBF also received the Lotus Award in the School Green Award category, the highest award in the school category under the institutions of higher learning by the Singapore Environment Council, as well as winning the Schools' Recycling Bin Design Competition.

The evaluation for these awards takes into consideration of energy, waste and water management, infrastructure and initiatives in promoting environmental protection with the overall goal of improving sustainability in Singapore.
