LSBF Singapore extends partnership with Wuxi Vocational Institute of Commerce for the second year

A virtual opening ceremony was conducted on December 11th, to welcome the second cohort of students in China participating in LSBF’s collaboration with Wuxi Vocational Institute of Commerce to deliver the Global ACCA programme.

The event was conducted at 9am in the morning with an opening speech by Ms Zhu Qinhua, Principal/Chancellor of the college, followed by opening addresses from Mr Rathakrishnan Govind, CEO, LSBF Global, as well as Ms Yvonne Goh, Head of the School of Professional Education at LSBF Singapore.

This was then followed by speeches from the teachers’ and student representatives, and feedback was shared that the students share strong aspiration to improve their English language skills through this collaboration and partnership on delivery of ACCA courses via LSBF Singapore.

Deans of the college as well as the school of accounting and finance were also present, and the event ended on a high note of confidence in LSBF being able to deliver the classes even better in the year to come - via blended, online and Live Broadcasts, even as the new normal in education post COVID has emerged.

This collaboration was the first that paved the way for LSBF / Wuxi Vocational College ACCA programme to be registered in the Chinese MOE, and for students to opt to study at LSBF after the ‘Gao Kao’ national exams.

‘Learning from the past year, and the new normal in education through digital means, LSBF is committed to deliver the programme better than we did before. We pride ourselves in providing only the best quality education to our students. LSBF does this by making sure our academic lecturers are of top quality, and that our students are well prepared for a successful career upon completing their education with LSBF.’  - Said Mr Rathakrishnan Govind, CEO, LSBF Global
