Singapore Environment Council gives Marine Conservation talk to Students

LSBF in Singapore invited Singapore Environment Council (SEC) to give a talk on Marine Environment Conservation on 9th May.

The talk, which was held at LSBF in Singapore’s GB Building campus, attracted nearly 100 students. Angie Lim, a representative of SEC, shared with students about the economic, social and environmental impact of marine trash in Singapore and globally. She also talked about the current measures and technology employed to tackle marine trash, as well as how people can play a part in protecting marine environments.

“It’s my pleasure to be here today, especially sharing insights with so many international students, who can bring back such knowledge and values to their homeland in the future. The students were very attentive throughout the talk and demonstrated enthusiasm in contributing to the conservation of our marine environment. I’m glad that LSBF has such a strong focus on environmental preservation,” said Angie.
