Guest Speaker Talk with Finance Director of Asia Countries, Motorola Solutions

On 29 October 2013, LSBF in Singapore hosted its 4th LSBF Guest Speaker Talk Series. This time, our distinguished guest was Mr Vincent Lim, Finance Director of Asia Countries for Motorola Solutions.

As a Council Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Vincent has won numerous international toastmasters competitions. His talk, titled “Power Communication at Work: Will the Real ‘You’ Please Stand Up?”, was well received by our students. Vincent spoke to students on why communication skills are a coveted skillset for every finance and accounting professional, and shared insights on how one could learn to speak like a leader through the right use of persuasive and effective presentation skills.

The LSBF Guest Speaker Talk Series is organised with the aim to deliver professional events which will develop and groom the next generation of young business thinkers. 

Organised by LSBF in Singapore, this event is targeted at ACCA students, alumni and finance professionals. It brings together some of the most influential leaders in the corporate world in a collaborative and networking environment.

LSBF in Singapore looks forward to organising more such sessions to prepare ACCA students and finance professionals for leadership, excellence and success in business.
