Collaborative Dialogue & Coaching
People is the most integral part of businesses and organisations. High performance managers know this and proactively engage their teams to get the best out of them. To engage their teams successfully, managers must have the skills and abilities to manage the performance of their teams effectively.
The programme aims to equip managers with applicable skills, knowledge and techniques to manage performance effectively at the workplace such as the following:
- Performance management concepts, including coaching and mentoring
- Strategies and pitfalls to successful performance management
- Performance management as a tool for motivation and improved productivity
- Performance based appraisals and rewards, and how to deal with performance issues
- Targeted case studies
This workshop will identify the 3 pillars of effective communication in a coaching context – Recognition, Coaching Dialogue and Constructive Feedback. Different coaching models will also be discuss. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to relate to these 3 pillars and how they can be applied to the different functions of performance management to create a collaborative environment for effective coaching.
