The Preparatory Course for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at London School of Business & Finance in Singapore will develop students' level of English to a standard recognised by universities across the world. Who is this course for? expand

This course is for students who are 18 years old and above and would like to study at a further education institution in an English-speaking country. It provides comprehensive training on the techniques and skills required to pass the IELTS examination and achieve the best score possible.

The study week consists of 15 hours per week for full-time study over the course of 3 months. Classes are held Mondays to Fridays.
Full-time: 3 months per level | Monday to Friday | 15 hours per week

Results and tutorials

Results are logged fortnightly and tutorials will be conducted monthly.

Certificate awardedexpand

Students will obtain Certificate of Attendance awarded by London School of Business & Finance upon completion of the course.

Entry criteria expand

This course is for students who are 18 years old and above and would like to study at a further education institution in an English-speaking country.

Students wishing to obtain IELTS normally wish to gain a certain band score for entry purposes.

Upon arrival, students will meet with a senior member of our staff to ensure that they are being placed in the appropriate level in order for the student to meet their learning objectives.

Placement Test
A placement test is administered at the Admissions Office upon the students’ arrival in Singapore. Students will be informed of the respective levels they qualify for within one day of the test.
